A.k.A was born in London England under a full moon. He studied digital imaging attaining a B.A. Honors degree from Kent College of Art and Design. Commercially he is probably best known for his book covers, advertising and editorial work. However he has also created artwork for production companies and record companies globally. He has also had a book of his tutorials, techniques and artwork published. A.K.A's work is rooted in the traditional mediums of photography and painting and along with a fascination for texture and details as well as decorative scrolling and flowing curves and lines. These image making processes are combined with the endless possibilities that digital imaging brings. He shoots his own photographs from his studio in London and also works with client supplied material.
